ABOUT ME
I am from Cartagena de Indias, but also with roots from different parts of my native country, Colombia. Since I was a child I stood out for being very restless and curious. In my teenage years I began to understand my love for science, and when I was 17 years old I began my undergraduate studies in Physics at the Universidad del Atlántico. Major which I completed with honors. During my undergraduate studies I had the opportunity to work in the research group of Elementary Particles and Cosmology (PEyCOS), directed by Prof. Mario A. Acero along with Prof. Alexander Oliveros, who encouraged me to participate in multiple research projects in Cosmology. Later, I did an internship at RECA (Red de Estudiantes Colombianos de Astronomía) where I worked along with Prof. Javier Gonzalez on a project funded by the LSST. I then participated in the Perimeter-SAIFR-IFT Journeys into Theoretical Physics at the IFT/ICTP-SAIFR in São Paulo. At the present time (2024) I am pursuing my Master's degree in astrophysics at the Institute of Physics of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), and conducting research in the cosmological tensions along with my supervisor Prof. Rafael C. Nunes.
I have a deep passion for sharing and increasing my knowledge about the Cosmos, to understand the nature of its content and time itself. I know and feel that my purpose (whether random or deterministic) is to contribute bit by bit to the solution for the universal puzzle.
